This Pandemic Cannot Stop Us!

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, members of the Zonta Club of Fort Myers have remained connected with each other and our community. In response to the many challenges this pandemic has caused, particularly for women and children, we generously donated $4,000 to our community partners.

Fight for Good
The most vulnerable are presented with challenges beyond expectations. Therefore, the Zonta Club of Fort Myers proudly presented a monetary donation to the Salvation Army- specifically to meet those needs for the women’s shelter including feminine hygiene products. Zonta Club of Fort Myers supports the Salvation Army’s “fight for good”, particularly now.

Hunger Challenges
We graciously presented an unrestricted monetary donation in support of Community Cooperative’s effort in providing emergency service. We are proud to assist them in their compassionate undertakings to reduce the hunger challenges associated with the response to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Feminine Supplies
At-risk populations are presented with challenges beyond expectations. Therefore, we presented supplies of diapers, feminine hygiene products, as well as general supplies to assist women and children at the Community Center of Pine Manor in Fort Myers. The members of the Zonta Club of Fort Myers support the Community Center's efforts toward a better quality of life, particularly now.

Fear Free Environment
We hope to lessen the challenges presented to victims of abuse and donated generous supplies of diapers, feminine hygiene products, as well as general goods to assist women and children at the A.C.T., Abuse, Counseling, and Treatment. The Zonta Club of Fort Myers whole heartily supports ACT's efforts toward a fear free environment for victims of abuse.

Virtual Meetings
We continue to meet at 5:30 PM the 3rd Thursday of the month. The June meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. We look forward to the time when we can comfortably meet in person at the Crowne Plaza.
