Zonta


“Zonta” is derived from a Lakhota Sioux word meaning honest and trustworthy. It was adopted in 1919 to symbolize the combined qualities of honesty and trust, inspiration and the ability to work together for service and world understanding.

Women make up nearly 50% of the workforce; however, gender equality is not yet a realty especially in senior management and corporate boardrooms.  To encourage more women to pursue education and careers we provide financial support.  Women of any age, pursuing an accredited program who demonstrate outstanding potential are eligible to apply.
